EQUIP3 works to provide complementary education alternatives to the world’s most disadvantaged young people which includes flexible learning models and literacy taught in a relevant and effective manner. EQUIP3 has developed expertise in youth livelihoods and employment from working in a wide variety of settings helping youth transition from the informal to formal economy.  EQUIP3’s use of service learning programs has been largely motivated by our belief that young people can and should be seen as active and positive contributors to their families, communities, and societies.

Two themes that cut across all of our areas of expertise are youth participation and youth and conflict. These themes draw on multiple areas of expertise to address the needs and goals of youth.
