Guatemala Social Sector Logo

The Guatemala Social Sector Investment Policy Dialogue supports USAID/Guatemala in achieving the Central America and Mexico (CAM) Regional Strategic Objective 3, “Investing in People: Healthier, Better Educated People in Guatemala,” more specifically Intermediate Result 3.1, “Increased and Improved social sector investment,” and Sub-Result 3.1.1, “Increased and more efficient expenditure by the Ministry of Education.”

The project supports achievement of the Ministry of Education’s 2004-2007 goals and contributes to Guatemala’s Vision Education Goals and the Millennium Challenge goals for improving accountability and transparency in education and increasing the quality, equity, and efficiency of public education programs.
