| Egypt Education Reform Project (ERP)
The Egypt Education Reform Project (ERP) forms part of an integrated program combining policy and institutional development with implementation of school and classroom innovations. The ERP is an integrated set of activities intended to establish a foundation of policy and institutional capacity for sustainable and replicable reform in the seven target governorates and institutional partners. The Egypt ERP interventions under EQUIP2 will address the following topics and objectives:
Policy: implementation of a decentralized system and active engagementof the private and public sectors
Systems and Educational Strategy: support of innovative school-level programs implemented through EQUIP1
Organizational Capacity: development of the skills, knowledge, and procedures needed to implement reforms
Civil Society Participation: demand and support for education through engagement of the civil society and private sectors
Knowledge of Effective Interventions: encouragement of continuous improvement through monitoring and evaluation and action education research
The ERP EQUIP2 project is organized into three major components, in addition to Monitoring and Evaluation, and Participant Training Support:
