About the Educational Quality Improvement Program - EQUIP
EQUIP is a combination of three programs that foster improved educational quality in countries around the world:
EQUIP1: Building Educational Quality in the Classroom, School and Local Community EQUIP2: Educational Policy, Systems, and Management EQUIP3: Learning and Earning for Out-of-school Youth
EQUIP Leader Award Activities are designed to increase knowledge about educational quality globally.
In addition, EQUIP Associate Award Activities are undertaken at the request of USAID missions, regional bureaus, or pillar bureaus. Interventions occur globally in countries receiving assistance from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
These activities include, but not be limited to, policy and situational analyses; needs assessments; skill-gap analyses; feasibility studies; pilot projects and interventions; applied research; data collection; training, seminars and workshops; monitoring and evaluation studies; and compilation of reports and dissemination of results and lessons learned.
