Problems addressed:
1. Introduction
Schools construct announcement boards in villages in order to improve communication between schools and communities. The announcement boards provide information about enrolment drives, special school events or meetings, opportunities for parents to visit school, etc.
2. Primary Objectives
- To improve communication between schools and communities.
3. Target group
- Community members
4. Information on implementation
Once schools have expressed a need for the community notice board on their School Improvement Plan, and the plan has been approved, money is taken from the School Improvement Grant, through the cluster. Schools use the money to pay for materials and labor to build the board. Once it is completed, announcements from either the community or school are placed on it, so that information can be shared both ways.
5. Resources Needed
- Construction materials for school boards
- Labor costs
