ERP is working with MOE & MOHE staff to build a system that rewards effort and achievement requires clear procedures for advancement and promotion that holds teachers, principals, and others accountable for quality performance:

Professional development is about improving the knowledge, skills, and commitment of educators--teachers, supervisors, and administrators, as well as Faculty of Education (FOE) staff since they are key to promoting learning in schools.

ERP's goals include establishing certification procedures for all teachers, developing an in-service teacher trainer & supervisory support system, improving teaching practice & community-based service learning experiences for pre-service teachers, establishing special support programs for new teachers, achieving civil service reform, and obtaining increased funding to pay teachers.
